About the Author

​Krystyna was born in High Wycombe (UK) in 1995 as the youngest of three children. She developed a love of creative writing from a young age and was often seen with a notebook and pen.

​

In 2011 she entered and won a competition for The Times Young Writer when she wrote a short story about her Polish grandmother's experience as a child in WWII.

​

She studied archaeology at the University of Sheffield before training to be a secondary teacher at Sheffield Hallam University, during which time she began working on her first novel, The Eighth Sin.

 

In 2023 she left teaching to run her own business in Sheffield and to focus on writing.
